안녕하세요 Dieter씨, 
편지가 도착했음을 알려주셔서 감사합니다. 
답장은 천천히 보내주셔도 괜찮습니다. 제가 Snail mail을 선호하는 이유도 답장에 대한 부담을 줄일 수 있기 때문입니다. 하지만 첫 편지였기 때문에 알려주셔서 매우 기쁩니다. 요즘은 실물 편지를 보내는 경우가 드물어서 우체국의 담당자가 당황하더라고요. 그래서 편지가 잘 도착할지 살짝 걱정했습니다. 
시간이 되실때 천천히 답장 주시고 오늘도 즐거운 하루 되세요.

Thank you for letting me know that you received my letter.
You can take your time replying. I prefer snail mail because it reduces the pressure of having to reply. However, I was very happy to hear from you since it was your first letter. These days, people rarely send physical letters, so the post office clerk was a little confused. That's why I was a little worried that your letter would arrive safely.
